    anildash It is *really* bad. I've been hit up by metrics companies trying to upsell pubs after reporting on 15% of traffic to advertisers.

        anildash I've talked w/a dev who had to build out a javascript sandbox tool to deal w/preroll ads that document.write & break the site.

          anildash I've seen multiple ads that drop the entire Foundation stack into their ad unit in order to create a button.

            anildash And that's not even tracking the terrible and clearly malfunctioning tracking codes that are entire businesses' sole product.
