              1. A lot of people speculating on what 4D chess game Msk is playing with Twitter... But honestly he's acting exactly like a 13 yo boy who has just been given moderation powers over his favorite forum and I don't think you have to look deeper than that.

He personally carried a physical sink into Twitter HQ to make a bad pun. I don't think he really plans ahead or thinks particularly deeply about anything, he just tells people to go do stuff that makes him sound smart.

Trying to ascribe deeper motivations falls into the myth he has built around himself, that he's super smart and doing this chaos for super smart reasons, but he's deeply unserious. He once broke major safety laws at his company because he didn't like a color.

America is very uncomfortable with the idea that someone can luck, undeserved, into extreme wealth; because it challenges our internal bootstrap meritocracy mythos. The reality is extremely dumb people get massive wealth and power all the time because the meritocracy is a lie.

Don't fall into the trap of his own PR apparatus. He and the people around him have found it extremely beneficial to build up his mythos as a forward looking master manager smarty.

Instead, take a moment to examine your internal biases that make it impossible for you to consider he's a dude whose wealth has allowed him to never develop his emotional intelligence and paper over his own stupidity and he's having a long running adult temper tantrum.

Consider that and allow this opportunity to push yourself to think about what that means about the world as you have currently constructed it vs how it really is. Do what Eln is apparently psychologically incapable of and consider that your assumptions might be wrong.

Think that maybe this means that you'll never be rich because we live in an unfair society where wealth and power have nothing to do with merit, where resources are distributed unfairly, and consider this: Capitalism is bad actually.
