        jbenton I think the main difference is that of all of those only YouTube will recommend videos to you from accounts you don't follow. Twitter, I guess sort of? But not very much. The rest though all require some intent to get to porn, only YouTube will present it without user intent.

      jbenton Also, another major factor, of all those platforms only YouTube is *really raking in* ad bucks. No one advertises direct to those other platforms excepting fully brand-safe content. But YouTube promises that.

    jbenton Last thing that occurred to me: only YouTube's recommendation system makes it super easy to find similar violations, which makes it easy for journos to write 'pattern of bad things' stories about YouTube, whereas writing one about any other platform requires serious digging.
