    1. Talking with some folks and realizing how weird it is that for a particular slice of my generation our entire lives were changed because a group of shitheads on the internet decided games journalism was the best vector for acting out their shitty misogyny.

    It makes me wonder just how resilient our future actually is. Some people have this idea that This Too Will Pass. But I think that even if it does, the effects won't go away.

      People's reactions to the world around them has been changed in ways that don't change back very easily. I think a lot of people are going to be looking at the world through the filter of 2014-2024 for a *long* time. Prob their whole lives.
