    1. This is a weird question maybe, but why isn't there a journalism-focused digital document repository? Seems like it could be a great project for a Knight or a university journalism program.

    Like, sciences handle this pretty well. You can publish something in a paywall but for academic use, and with academic credentials, you can also place it elsewhere for safekeeping, standardization and accessibility?

      I guess you could argue JSTOR, but they are really not capable of storing the modern digital news item.

        Archive(dot)org stores this stuff, of course. But still. A dedicated project for this would be great.
