      1. The Twitter algorithm's attempt to match an article with a trending topic seems to have gone a bit awry here? Where did this come from? (Besides the middle of last year) I guess because he mentioned this? But I'm not seeing a lot of the link in search.

Oh wow, my favorite Twitter bug is back. The search page top stories are picking the link for the top article from the tweet that pushed a trend over from 'maybe trending' to 'trending' and left it shortened so you can see the very tweet that tipped the scale

Sort of weird jenavievehatch's tweet criticizing Andrew Sullivan is the one that pushed his name into the Trending column. Someone would have done so eventually, but this is oddly fitting. Even Twitter's algo would prefer to not read or distribute A.Sullivan's work I guess :P

Anyway, read her much better piece instead of whatever junk Andrew Sullivan has climbed out of his hole to 'grace' us with jenavievehatch/951896345648029697

At least that link used to be b/c it was the trend-er. Perhaps things have changed? Does anyone see this other than me? Has Twitter rolled out more personal search pages? t(dot)co/CJaETonXYM still on the top for me.
