      ShortFormErnie Having trained people in Markdown, I believe we underestimate how much HTML thinking is embedded in it. You have to think in DOM structures to use it.

        ShortFormErnie If people know their HTML already, sure great, use it. But if they're working in WYSIWYG without understanding HTML they lack the underlying concepts to convert to Markdown directly.
