@HanFreakinSolo jaspar I think in early years the US's role was to provide pressure that protected Israel from foreign states. Now I think that pressure mostly acts to keep the risen far-right in leadership there from military-driven expansion. Generally *internal* instability in IS is overestimated

@HanFreakinSolo jaspar The problem is that a lot of people mistake conflict between the Gaza/WB and Israel as internal, but those are external states as political entities, regardless of their interdependence and position. Or at least that's how the conflict is treated in IS.

@HanFreakinSolo jaspar So yeah, fall of the USA would become the fall of the EU and that would mean that there is no moderating force between Israel and G/WB or any surrounding states. It's easy to see how they'd assume attack is their only defense. And b/c of technological advantage they'd prob win

@HanFreakinSolo jaspar Post USA, Israel would likely be very safe. Not sure how kind it would be to its citizens at that point though.
