shansquared Oh damn, I was thinking about just asking for 'give me the news' but yeah, that's totally an issue! WSJ just wrote about how the Google Search Cards are inaccurate and that's the same data Google Home uses to form answers - wsj.com/articles/googles-featured-answers-aim-to-distill-truthbut-often-get-it-wrong-1510847867

shansquared That article notes "featured snippets" in search results that are explicitly homophobic or incorrect. Those answers would presumably be picked up if the same question was asked to a Google Home device.

shansquared Amazon Echo uses Bing to find its answers. I bet if you dug around you could totally find a query that would totally spit back inaccuracies.
