        Also like... Maximus is sort of the good guy here? I mean he's fighting to free people from a dictatorial caste system under which people who are considered "genetically inferior" seem to be used as near slave labor?

      Also lol it is leaning real hard into the whole 'all Hawaiians are super friendly'. Just a bunch of surfers hanging out with machine guns and climbing equipment totally ready to blow the hell out of strangers after getting drunk with a dude with hooves.
