      macloo jeffjarvis mathewi jayrosen_nyu Yeah, exactly, like one of those examples is sustainable... perhaps. That's really the only measure that counts. A media startup with no ramp off of VC is just a failure in the making.

    macloo jeffjarvis mathewi jayrosen_nyu HuffPost got purchased, so they're one. The rest? Axios is a maybe. Recode is doing ok. But I wouldn't consider the rest as healthy companies.

      macloo jeffjarvis mathewi jayrosen_nyu I mean, not a knock on the work they do, but the companies should be sustainable, or well on their way or the whole process is for naught.
