I dunno, if you really want to stop antifa, maybe stop being a fascist and help others to stop being fascists using the methods you approve.
-
Nothing is less impressive then the objections of someone who is doing nothing to someone who is doing something.
-
Also, I have a real issue with the comparison of tactics to the Civil rights movement. It's bad for 2 reasons.
-
1: The Civil Rights movement is neither complete nor victorious. People of color are still not treated with equal respect by law.
-
2: It's an apples to oranges comparison when it doesn't need to be. We have a historical president for how to successfully fight Nazis: WW2.
-
Now, I'm not pro violence, but the real historical president for dealing successfully with Nazis is... *checks textbook* really violent.
-
Maybe we can build a better path this time, but don't go pretending that history supports non-violence as the way to stop Nazis.
-
And, I'm not a historian, so I'm gonna ask: has any fascist movement ever been unseated with anything other than violence?
