But approach is responsibility of the media acting on the other end of the tool. Getting through to readers has always been our job

Readers have always chosen what to read, doing so in public scales up the results, but not the efforts. Blaming FB is pointless...

If people come to FB in part to filter their worlds, being less effective at that won't solve anything. People will just leave FB.
