SeanBlanda easy to pop filter bubble. I sent you ~5 pro-brexit articles yesterday, but there are (legit) biases on what is 'reasonable'

SeanBlanda echo chambers are self selected. I respect idea, but breaking filter bubble is easy, add social media people you disagree with.

SeanBlanda Many passionate well written defenses of Brexit that don't meet standards of what you and I consider 'civilized' or 'reasonable'

SeanBlanda but if you really want to claim insight into the "other side" then their existence has to be just as valid.

SeanBlanda few things have a single opposite, and sometimes the communities in opposition may not be stupid, but can be despicable.

SeanBlanda do these get representation in your newsletter, the Becks & the Brietbarts? If not, are you still failing to find the opposite?

SeanBlanda or (no offense) are you just colonizing opposing view points & using your own values to filter a community you're outside of?

SeanBlanda In a newsletter wouldn't it be better to simply promote guest aggregation by opposing view points rather than doing it yourself?

SeanBlanda I don't have good answers. But if you're going to champion the Other Opinion for this project mby you should?

SeanBlanda just "smartest writing" seems like a serious issue. IMO attempting to lay claim to View From Nowhere is BS. We all have bias.
