      Tracking FB clickthroughs is always fascinating b/c stuff like this pops up, where there is no outward indication a post would be picked up.

        It makes me wonder if the increasing focus on time-on-article and clicks is turning FB into a site that favors lurkers.

          If lurker behavior is rising in value on the Facebook algorithm, is that a good thing? I'm not so sure.

            Last year, similar bumps were accompanied by a reshare or a high number of comments. The quiet successes are the most interesting.
