Pretty sure this ad is using Javascript to load in Flash to generate XML, to load into Javascript and then breaking on tracking codes.

On one hand, I'm impressed that it could work that far. On the other hand the entire concept is sort of disgusting, in an engineering sense.

The best part is there's this bid process, XML generation, etc... all these moving parts and what breaks it is the tracking code at the end.

No matter how stupid the entire chain of industries is... all together they're not as stupid as a single ad tech company can be on its own.
