I'm not up to date on all the state laws most current iterations, but generally, from what I've seen, "do not sell or share" as defined in CA covers or more than covers US opt out cases, at least from the perspective of the top level domain. montezumachavez cobun alextcone "Targeted advertising" has not yet, I think, included targeting based on first party data according to the legal definitions I've seen. Sorta weird to think about, but the letter is there. If that changed, then there would be some big changes in how to handle compliance.Permalink On twitter.com
