      1. There are rumors going around that Eln plans to increase the character limit for Tweets. I hope not. I think one of the great things about Twitter is how it forces focused writing, clear arguments, and succinct and engaging posts through its character limit. A feature not a bug.

      Something about Twitter's limits and countdown UI make for a particularly engaging and effective writing experience, for me at least. Breaking that would significantly break Twitter for me.

      Should I just make myself a WYSIWYG editor that works like Twitter and saves to Markdown? It would be a cool Obsidian plugin? Has someone made something like this already?

        I dunno... there's something about the 'doing it live' process also that is particularly refining of thought and writing that would still be missing.
