knowtheory Right. The irony is that it feels weird that it doesn't have world impact because these things *have character impacts*. A similar situation in the DCU would likely have not really been felt as disconcerting b/c the characters already feel disconnected from the world...Permalink On twitter.com

knowtheory On flip side, it's why Marvel Comics has so many fewer major cross-over world-changing events compared to DC. In Marvel Comics, becoming a super hero is *traumatic* and so they don't need to have a world-changing event or a more fleshed out world to keep drama and story running.On twitter.com
