      NTransit mrlegend4456 NYC's Transit Authority is a state public benefit corporation. While it isn't a traditional state authority it is fundamentally an agent of the state & controlled by government appointees. Its fair to call it a gov't agency even if it doesn't fit the traditional definition. 1/*

    NTransit mrlegend4456 And while the data given to the NYCTA is specifically defined as confidential (see: codelibrary.amlegal.com/codes/newyorkcity/latest/NYCrules/0-0-0-125278 ) the data the applicant must give when, as is directed in the public documentation published by NYC and the MTA, they sign up for an OMNY account is not.
