One of the biggest things slowing them down is the unnecessary and potentially illegal architecture of TCF. The answer to this problem cannot be the increased complexity of GPP. It will only set publishers up for failure.

A CMP should be the fastest piece of software on your site, yet overwhelmingly this is not the case. Even when faster implementations are available, they are not the default set up. The CMP industry isn't blameless here. They need to get better at code and deployment.
