        robinberjon jyasskin I helped build Zeus Prime and I can tell you yes, everyone believes it is net harmful, no one wants to deal with it, and Google owns too much of the infrastructure, but even if they didn't, the lever is on the side of the buyer, they're the ones running demand in these systems.

      robinberjon jyasskin But beyond that, there are a series of complex interconnecting incentives, almost all dependent on trade in user data, that publishers have no leverage over. These are what preserve the ad tech tax and why publishers cannot act alone to eliminate it, even if they want to.

    robinberjon jyasskin But also... Like common sense will tell you that a business would prefer not to lose 70% of every transaction? I'd think that would be obvious?
