    1. This is 100% true. I think part of the problem is that the title doesn't really match the expectations of the job. "Producer" in any other media context means something very different. In podcasts it's more akin to "show-runner" plus "director" tnwhiskeywoman/1577775537883385856

    I suspect that, because podcasting is so heavily sold on the host, this role of producer has been intentionally minimized for marketing purposes.
