It's true that it wasn't 'the pandemic' that set kids back though. It was our half hearted embrace of isolation measures, our inability to properly fund & support schools & teachers to do new methods of teaching, & our continuing refusal to properly protect teachers from COVID...Permalink On twitter.com

Only an economist would look at the potential toll of thousands of dead children, measure it against a bunch of arbitrary numbers, & declare it would be better if the children had been killed.
