  1. I'm not really sure how anyone could think the Facebook pixel doesn't count as a data sale under CCPA. Its entire point is user data sales through targeted advertising or cross site measurement that allows for Facebook to do combination of data internally. maevemallsup/1564643969681698816

      Considering that the Facebook pixel is almost definetly one of the specific technologies considered when the law was created, as an example of tracking the user should be capable of opting out of, I find the idea that anyone would consider it not covered by a DNS ludicrous.

        The Facebook pixel is not an analytics tool, it's a data sale facilitation tool. Google Analytics on the other hand is a much more complex and interesting question, especially depending on its settings.
