      1. It's real weird that Netflix just released a random episode of The Sandman that's an extra episode, didn't tell anyone it was coming, did no press or marketing that I can see, did nothing to drum up interest. They just go, oops here you go. Too bad. It looks expensive.

      They are sort of hoisted by their own BS. I'm so used to them re-presenting stuff I've already watched as if it was new, or leaving the "New Episode" label on stuff I've already watched that I didn't initially realize there even was an actual new episode.

    Not the biggest fan of the series thus far, and the new episode continues the annoying first episodes' tendency to remain entirely unable to focus a camera properly, but still, it feels entirely like a bad way to treat a series you'd like to see succeed.
