JeromySonne humanpropensity swodinsky Iwillleavenow coreypein docadam But there's a real conversation to be had about a whole category of businesses (drop shippers being the worst, but not the only) that wouldn't exist if it wasn't for FB and G advertising. We're talking about a truly alternate history situation...

JeromySonne humanpropensity swodinsky Iwillleavenow coreypein docadam I don't doubt that there are *some* businesses for which personalized advertising works well on Google & FB but many are designed for principles that exist because of the post-tracking world. You can't sell products when everyone is dying b/c they don't know what to believe about a pandemic. Larger outcomes and larger impacts MATTER but they can't be tracked so easily...

JeromySonne humanpropensity swodinsky Iwillleavenow coreypein docadam The problem is that buyers often confuse 'easier to track success' with 'more successful'. But I'm not sure even that is the case. Look at all the DTC businesses that pop up and go out of business. That's not a healthy economy or a success, but they rely heavily on targeted ads.
