                1. Imagine, if you will, literally any of this hardware or software going wrong. Now you don't have a bed and you are going to need do wait for your landlord, the software upgrade, and likely some part replacement before you have a place to sleep again. mims/1560654111720210432

The Fifth Element takes place in a dystopia. This is not a recommendation. mims/1560654765696368640?t=D1-o2SIlE4VPnvg7QHbcgg&s=19

Like... This is wrong. The problem isn't that the units are too small to live comfortably in because the furniture doesn't fit. The problem is the room is too small while millionaires down the street own two apartments they don't use and an app is arbitraging sq ft pricing higher

The solution set for this problem doesn't include people who can't afford humane housing getting an Applecare subscription to make their bed and kitchen work.

If your apartment is so tiny it needs this then your landlord is a ghoul, your building's developer is a greedy sonofa, and your city, state, and country government have all failed to correctly regulate housing.

If you're a tech bro who wants to avoid making the bed because your mommy used to do it, just sell your robot bed ceiling tile as that. Let's not pretend it's more than it is.

There is enough space, even in cities, for a fair system to give everyone reasonably sized housing, but so much of the space id being used in insane market schemes & as empty space to help store the egos of the wealthy. And we could even spread housing further w/public transport

Robot furniture, on the other hand, only allows the system to perpetuate while opening another front in extracting money from the poor.
