I just really really think that any design that ends up encouraging and protecting a predictive market in Shadow Topics is going to end with bad outcomes for publishers. I'm really trying to work with the idea that it is possible to just pull the thread of "shitty to users' privacy" out of the warp and weft of ad tech while holding all the other components in place... I'm just really not sure it is achievable.Permalink On twitter.com
