And I dunno all of this talk of distracted watching does sound right but ALSO... Am I crazy but do streaming services, especially their originals, just have a bad sound mix? The top post seems to blame this on "serious" actors being "more mumbly". But I dunno it seems to me more like the sound mix of stuff is off far more often... or maybe it is something about how modern equalizers set to movie mode work? I dunno.Permalink On twitter.com

Anyway, if you are NYC-based, a little fun fact I only just discovered is that the AMC uptown--AMC Lincoln Square 13 on 68th--plays current films on the big screen WITH subtitles, in-theater! It's great!Permalink On twitter.com
