    1. Back on my reading Surveillance Capitalism and arrrrrgh. If the division of learning is basically the same as the division of labor, why not simply acknowledge that learning is also labor? Modern learning comes from industrialists needing trained workers. X === Y here.

    So much of this book is her explaining a facet of capitalism really well with historical support and then spending far too much time going "ahhh but because of Google there is a new version of this thing with a new name that shares all the characteristics of the old thing bc..."

      Reading this is going so slow because every 5% I have to put it down and write an essay in response.
