  1. For reasons very unclear to me Gmail search appears to have changed? Previously to:(email@emaildotcom) would show only those emails that have that exact email in the To: field. Now it shows any emails that are To: the "Contact" associated with that email address...

      It's incredibly baffling. Terrible for someone like me who uses different emails for different stuff. Even using the filter option does not fix this & it entirely changes how I use the platform and interact with it. I have no idea if this breaks any of my many preexisting filters

        The change has apparently pushed the search functionality in Gmail to use the Google Search terminology so now to look for emails to a specific email address I have to type +to:(email@emaildotcom) . Which does not make sense to me at all.

          Mby I'm the weirdo with 10 email addresses or whatever, but I feel this is not that unusual of a case? Am I crazy and the only one who manages multiple emails and forwarders that come in to the same inbox? Gmail has multiple features for sending emails on behalf of other emails.

            If Google has changed their actual query logic in Gmail and this isn't just a search UI thing, and also impacts filters, that's going to be really messy for me.
