      simonw It reminds me of a newspaper editor I worked. They were insistent every paper have a photo with a face on it above the fold and noted that less papers were left in the bins when there was a face above the fold vs not. Human psychology getting reinforced by algo here I suspect.

    simonw Also reminds me of one of my favorite eye tracking studies which looked at how we are drawn to follow photo eye-lines in designs.
