              1. All of DCs top editors should be fired. The endless top-level-editor-led rebooting of the universe over and over, never working, would be grounds to fire them in any other company. No one really cares about the intricacies of the DC multiverse splintering over and over. banter_ko/1511801471809261568

This current line of post-reboot comics which have lost the thread on any sort of coherent cannon consistency in the process of the reboot itself are fine and proof that no one cares about the endless multi-line multiverse juggling story-lines...

It's very clear to me that the main thing the readership cares about is the coherency of the in-book-line stories and as long as that's in place, endless multiverse juggling story-lines and trying to narratively justify retcons is pointless and undesirable.

Also Death Metal wasn't good. I found it entirely unreadable. The further away we get from it the better.

DC Comics my friends, talking about DC Comics!

But yeah, it is insane to me the DC Universe has basically been rebooted every two years for at least a decade, maybe more. That's not a healthy story universe and it's really bad because it means that stories can't be built up meaningfully because they all have expiration dates.

Also, while I'm out here... Darkseid is a terrible character, he is never written well, his story is uninteresting, his power-level is never properly parsed, the Anti-Life Equation is a boring macguffin. Stop using these elements. Permakill Darkseid.
