jeffjarvis MTerenzio I agree that there are still plenty of bad sites on the web, even among legit publishers, BUT since Google moved to making CWV a SERP ranking factor, publisher sites have been regularly improving speed and performance, b/c there's a meaningful value in doing so...Permalink On twitter.com

jeffjarvis MTerenzio Publishers are businesses too and they have to follow the economic incentives. Unfortunately, pre-AMP Google incentivized putting as much of Google's ad tech on the page as possible AND didn't incentivize speed. Now there are incentives to do so and the economic activity follows.On twitter.com
