      B/c each streaming service has a clear incentive they will all slowly scale up their prices b/c the point is to try and force you into only paying for one by making it unaffordable to pay for more because what they want is monopoly in CTV, possible b/c it lacks TV's regulations.

          No one's crazy, why compete on the quality of product? You've proven willing to turn on anything and let it run in the background and Netflix was here first so it knows if it keeps ratcheting up the price that's a way easier way to get you to stop paying other companies.

            This is a thing! It just plays fire from that TV show you like. And many people just let it run on their TVs. That's the economic model Netflix is looking at.
