Or, client side operations can more effectively anonymize that data! I agree it's a pain in practice...

    JulesPolonetsky swodinsky mikarv AnupamChander I wouldn't try and claim that it is somehow ineffective as a tool, just it is being slow to be wielded and that it is not intended to directly target intelligence agencies, but instead to root out and shrink the flow of data they have access to.
