samuelgoto catsoo WebAuthn is a fundamentally different system, it isn't connected to a crypto currency. I would not consider it part of the 'web3' family of concepts just because it uses cryptography and stores keys in a browser in a way similar, but not at all the same, to 'wallets'.

samuelgoto catsoo A wallet holds an object whose uniqueness is guaranteed by the blockchain system and therefore is a self evident credential that does not (in theory) require storage of data by the service that is being logged into. I think.
