        Like... Even putting aside how most of TV has realized copaganda is not landing well these days... the joy of L&O is its episodic approach that managed to avoid long arcs and heavy handed season-long storytelling... And TV shows don't do that anymore.

    And modern showrunners are overly obsessed with tricking the audience and having a twist, which they'll foolishly try here, when the comforting nature of L&O was always its mostly predictable formula.
