          1. I am interested in having a central authority (a webpage) be able to issue signed tokens into MetaMask that have nothing to do w/mining, do not ever interact w/ETH or any other blockchain crypto booster BS, just can be issued & read by a central authority, have people seen this?

I've been digging through API documentation and it *seems* like this should be possible but every single write up is pushing towards BS ETH derivatives that I want nothing to do with. It's impossible to find documentation not infested by crypto bs boosterism...

I tried to docs but they kept pushing me into Etherium BS and looking for external documentation just led me into an endless pile of people trying to sell me shit. All I want is to store an arbitrary token signed by both the wallet holder and a site in the wallet.

Maybe I'm crazy and this is functionally impossible? Sure sucks that what could be a good general use tool is instead eternally locked into a one mode of operation if so. You'd think the community would want to make it as generally usable as possible.

This has been an incredibly frustrating documentation hunt. So I'm out here asking for help, hit me up if you have any idea if this is even possible.

Ugh, this is exactly why I didn't even want to tweet this question out.
oh my god twitter doesn’t include alt text from images in their API
