          eric_seufert I think you are misreading most objections. The problems aren't the grind isn't "fun", it's the problem of F2P grind-heavy games employing RNG mechanics that are addictive in an extremely bad way, that push towards user spend and gambling mechanics in psychologically bad ways.

        eric_seufert The problem with these games isn't or not if grind is "fun", it's the question of if the game is employing "grind" in a predatory way.

      eric_seufert Maybe there are other models for NFT or crypto-currency-generating games that do not dip their toe into this methodology that attempts to separate whales from their money & that could be an interesting question, but that's different from objections on the basis of grind in games

    eric_seufert That said, judging from the explosion of ugly endless NFT projects, I sort of doubt it will go that way, instead of maximizing profit and exploitation when that's available.
