At no point in history has it been more clear the libertarian model is insufficient. There's no individualist solution to climate change. There's no individualist solution to pandemic. The deeper I read into crypto currency communities the more it seems (with a very few exceptions) to be an extractive project, extracting resources, currency, and one's self from society rather than face the prospect of having to contribute to the urgent need of the present.Permalink On twitter.com

Through this lens, so much of the rhetoric feels like a fraud, a misdirection, look at this hand while the other throws a smoke bomb to cover the ultra rich (and hopeful hanger-ons) as they escape from their horror at the prospect of having, and perhaps being forced, to help.Permalink On twitter.com
