robinberjon Yup, same, but while I think many news org explicitly op eds could be rigorous opinion partnered with well formed debate tactics and/or harnessing great original reporting, the majority of op eds are preaching to the choir and more for entertainment value...Permalink On twitter.com

robinberjon I think a Gizmodo/Gawker style vaguely op ed ish approach is of high value as an organizational output, but the elder players' op ed corners feel like T-Rex arms most days: vestigial. And sometimes, on the increasing number of bad days, more like a bursting appendix.Permalink On twitter.com
