ShortFormErnie I think the most ridiculous thing is the idea many have been pushing that once ETH moves to PoS this will all just suddenly stop. As noted by Andreas Malm in their book, people don't build infrastructure like this unless they plan on operating it for long enough to pay off costs.Permalink On twitter.com

ShortFormErnie That's a big impact on the environment that isn't going to end with a switch to PoS, instead that investment will move to other crypto currencies they can mine to continue to pay off the investment of a build out like this.
