    pbannist I don't think that's fair to activists. I know plenty who want to see ads continue to keep the web open, just without invasive tracking, which is a position I agree with! And I *do* think that if we started from zero with active intervention we would be in a different place today

      pbannist I think it's *very* fair to want to use the web without having to have your personal data sent all around the world every time an iframe with an ad in it, or a script loads, using it without consent.
