humanpropensity Ironically, Google blocked this type of approach by pushing biz towards keeping their business pages updated on the platform and using that as the source of truth, instead of encouraging small businesses to put this stuff on their site, which would be the better experience.Permalink On twitter.com

humanpropensity If Google actually used it, a WordPress/Wix plugin that let a biz set these fields schema.org/LocalBusiness would push smbs to keep their sites up to date, put business owners in actual control, & make for a healthier more interoperable web.
