        First, as we've seen in coverage of the *sigh* metaverse Facebook believes it's own brand is poison and is trying to pivot away. So the majority of its PR maintain good relationships basically to support that pivot, but the Facebook brand is doing something else...

      Twitter reply guy tactics right out of Tr*mp world under the Facebook brand should look familiar. Like Tr*mp flaks it's not a performance for the public... It's a performance for the fans. It's for helping internal folks continue to feel self righteous & investors to see "action"

    Reputation management is for keeping customers. It assumes you can still get more or that there's a risk of people leaving. Facebook's Blue App already has all the people it's going to get and they're as locked in as they possibly can be. It doesn't need to worry about the public

      It's all about making Facebook seem unfairly attacked to its fans, internal folks, & stockholders. He acts like he's the little guy unfairly targeted by a conspiracy of lies because that helps internal folks justify feeling like they are being punched down on, when that's untrue

        See... when you're performing "poor put upon me" as a brand for folks that include the Facebook C-suite, getting called to congress is a good thing, proof that you're 'breaking through this unfairness put upon the brand'
