  1. For the last few weeks this Android game with, as far as I can tell, 0 women characters in it has been adding scantily clad women in compromising positions to its FAN-based ads for Tumblr.

      In the 2nd image the tower is growing *up* between the female illustration's legs. Another ad has a male character sprite stolen from another game hop on the back of a woman sprite recreated from a zombie game. Are these ads created by an AI learning human sexuality from FAN?

        It's sort of shocking to me that 'we don't allow porn anymore' Tumblr and FAN keeps letting these ads not only through, but building on each other to more weird and fundamentally inappropriate heights.

          Another weirdly inappropriate ad (photos 1 & 2), vs a normal ad (3 & 4) for the same game. I suppose there's a whole academic paper on the male gaze to be made out of the first two, but I find it very tiring.

            Hey tumblr Tumblrsupport - I would rather pay money for a subscription than keep getting endless gross ads. They don't stop even after I interact with ad choices and say I don't like this ad.
