I agree with this and I think it *is* _effective_ politics to be "furious". But also depressing that it's basically a requirement for a functional role in American politics. I say this as a generally furious person. TheWeek/1426634743542652933

Fury seems to be the last universally understood language of US politics, which, I agree, the mainstream Democratic party seems to be completely incapable of understanding, and they end up operating in some sort of past mode that casts them as odd befuddled technocrats.
