      1. Unplugged my MacBook from my home setup for 1st post-vaccine travel & alarmed to discover charge now lasts about an hour & it shuts down at 27%. It's 2 years old, & it says the battery needs service. If I have to replace, it'll be the 2nd time. Last time was b/c the n key broke.

      My s.o. uses my MacBook Pro from 2015. It still works as well as the day I got it, battery works as well as always. I have never had to take it in for service.

      I have a 2011 MacBook Air and even it runs smoother and longer.

        Apparently crash/shutdown from an unexpected battery power loss isn't great. Took 20 min to start back up. This is a MacBook Pro I got in 2018!
